Julia Scodellaro

South Bank Corporation

Julia Scodellaro is an accomplished integrated precinct manager, urban planner and design excellence advocate with a wealth of placemaking, asset management and leadership expertise. She was appointed to the role of Chief Executive Officer of South Bank Corporation in July 2025.

An advocate of design excellence, Julia plays a key role in the commercial and strategic planning for Brisbane’s much-loved and world-recognised South Bank precinct. She has held leadership roles at the Corporation since 2013, playing a key role in the precinct’s commercial and strategic planning.

In her previous role as Assets, Place and Projects General Manager she was responsible for delivering all major development projects across South Bank’s 42-hectare precinct. She also played a key role in shaping the Future South Bank Master Plan.

Prior to joining South Bank Corporation, Julia worked across both the private and public sectors in planning and project delivery. She holds a Bachelor of Built Environment, Urban and Regional Planning and a Postgraduate degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Queensland University of Technology and started her career as a town planner at Urbis.

A regular speaker on precinct management and placemaking, Julia contributes more broadly to the development of Brisbane and is an active voice in Brisbane and Queensland on integrated precinct management.
